Project Exhibits

County and State Alliances are encouraged to bring displays of any activities, programs and/or projects which took place over the past year as they relate to Health Education, Doctors’ Day, or Medical Heritage. The deadline for submission of projects is August 15. A submission form for each category can be found at smaalliance.org. Hover over the Community Service tab then scroll to the appropriate category. You may also contact alliance@sma.org and ask for a form to be sent to you.

Exhibit set-up will be on Thursday, November 2 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and on Friday morning, November 3 from 7:00 – 9:30 am. All exhibits must be set by 10:00 am on Friday, November 3 to be included in the judging.

Written Reports

All officers, committee chairs and councilors should have written reports completed and sent to Kendra Blackmon at kblackmon@sma.org  by September 30.  Reports should be no longer than 300 words and should record the events, activities, and/or accomplishments of the office you represent.

SMA Alliance Installation and Awards Luncheon

Please join Kathy Murray of Alabama and her new officers as they are installed for 2017 – 2018. Enjoy a delightful cuisine
as you socialize with friends and support the new SMA Alliance Board. We will also cheer on the winners of the coveted Doctors’ Day, Health Education and Medical Heritage awards. Appropriate attire for the meeting is business casual for all sessions and events.
